MOZILLA FIREFOX •• ACTIVATION SERIES
The Foxversum live
With “Open what you want | Everything you really browse”, Mozilla Firefox brought its campaign to where digital culture happens: from festivals and gaming communities to the heart of cosplay fandom.
The Legendary Firefox Quiz served as the common thread throughout the activation series, turning individual browsing habits into playful community experiences. The result was a consistent world of experiences filled with iconic swag, interactive formats and memorable community moments that made Firefox tangible far beyond traditional tech environments.

Festival Energy meets Firefox
At Heroes Festival, Firefox became an open experience zone right in the middle of the action. Between the main stage, sunshine and beats, chillout areas with WiFi and charging stations invited festivalgoers to stay and connect. Through the Legendary Firefox Quiz, visitors could discover their personal web personality and take home their individual Legendary Firefox Card.
Iconic Firefox swag – from noise-cancelling earplugs and Mango Matcha Firefox ice cream to tennis socks and pimple patches – quickly became a sought-after companion throughout the festival weekend.
Gaming, Community and Competition
With Footbrawl presented by Firefox, the activation series moved to LVL World of Gaming in Berlin. Between Rush Mode matches, goal-wall challenges and community action, the Legendary Firefox Quiz became a playful touchpoint for the gaming community, featuring browser personalities ranging from the “Rabbit-Hole Doomscroller” to the “Overthinking Tab Alchemist”.
Creator moments, community interaction and the appearance of Fabian Reese extended the experience far beyond the playing field.
Cosplay, Fandom and Foxy Culture
The series finale took place at Comic Con Germany in Stuttgart: loud, creative and full of community energy. Surrounded by cosplay, collectibles and fan culture, Firefox became part of the fandom itself. Live illustrations by comic artist Marvin Clifford, the Foxyfication Station, photo opportunities and community activations turned the experience into a destination for fans.
Most notably, the iconic Foxy Ears evolved into the series’ unmistakable visual signature – suddenly, the entire convention had turned orange.
