insglück bravely defied the COVID-19 pandemic by developing creative solutions and award-winning concepts. Now it has been rewarded with the top spot in the German creative event ranking.
This is the sixth time in seven years that the live-com agency with offices in Berlin, Cologne and Hamburg has secured the number one position for its consistent creative performance – also in challenging years.

The German creative event ranking 2022, published by the BlachReport magazine and now in its eighteenth year, pays tribute to exceptionally creative live marketing and live communication achievements. It is based on an evaluation of the agencies’ national and international award achievements in the event-specific categories of the ADC Awards, Golden Award of Montreux, BEA World, Galaxy Award and BrandEx Award.

Impressing the judges with virtual events

In 2021 the insglück submissions that impressed the global creative event awards committees focused on two winning projects for Vodafone and eBay. insglück created the ‘biggest and smallest Christmas party ever’ – the GIGA XMAS Kitchen Party– for Vodafone. It was an engaging event packed with show elements that went down very well with both Vodafone family and the global awards committees. The juries rewarded insglück with a total of eight awards, making the GIGA XMAS Kitchen Party insglück’s most successful project ever. Another five awards were received for eBay Open 2020.digital. The virtual conference for the eBay community put the focus on a personal experience of the brand for participants. It included a customer journey and an unconventional programme with all kinds of interesting opportunities for interaction.

Successful transformation

The fact that we convinced the juries to vote for us with purely digital projects this year represents a major achievement for us. It also shows that we are capable of more than just creative live events,” said Frederik Nimmesgern, CCO at insglück, under whose aegis the award-winning projects were developed. “We expedited the transformation process that began when the pandemic arrived and our interdisciplinary team of top consultants and leading creative minds delivered best-in-class concepts – for live, digital and hybrid events,” said Frederik Nimmesgern, who is delighted with the development.

Team reunion at EXPO Floriade

It will be happening this summer in Almere, the Netherlands – and naturally includes the additional highlight of a visit to the German Garden at Expo Floriade that we designed.”
